A Few Changes in Tactics

Extremeracer19 here and I hope you guys might have enjoyed the Prologue we worked hard to translate and edit.

Yesterday, we published Prologue of Volume 2 without the consent of our Project Manager Emon and boy was he disappointed that we didn’t use his permission. However, there was a topic that suddenly came up and after a cycle of discussions, we finally decided to change the tactics a little bit.

First of all during the editing, a lot of the editors on out group were confused on plot points which led to a lot of confusion.

So, we finally decided that because we don’t want you guys to wait too long, we have decided to break them into parts instead of updating them altogether into chapters.

This would take off a lot of load on our end and it would also be a safe switch in-case we become careless and destroy everything. Plus, you guys will have something to read in the mean-time.

We will be updating them soon in parts and I hope you will enjoy reading them as much as we enjoy working on them.

That means we were teasing our second novel.

It had been a tough past week for all of us. Working on our newest project while still managing to complete CtG. With the translator’s Laptop dying and having to write down the translation on paper before digitizing at least a part of it. Akimoto suddenly having a physical breakdown. A third party suddenly showing interest when we had begun all of our work.

With that said, I feel great to announce our second Light Novel translation project. If you noticed above. Our banner has two question marks.

Well, if we fill in the yellow part of that banner, the result would be this:

If you guy are still confused, then we are finally confirming today that the second Light Novel translation project we are working on is no other than Ben-To!

 

The intro is below:

One day, a poor high school student, Yō Satō walked into a supermarket and saw some half-priced bentos on sale. When he was reaching innocently for his desired bento, he was instantly knocked down. When he regained consciousness, he noticed that he was beaten up on the floor. When he looked up, he was stunned by the scene in front of him. It was a heated battlefield for the half-priced bentos. Being attracted by this unimaginable scene, Yō formed an alliance with his classmate, Hana Oshiroi, who was coincidentally in the supermarket, to obtain the half-priced bentos. However, out of nowhere, a beautiful girl, known to others as “The Ice Witch”, beat him down in an instant. After grabbing a bento for herself, she walked up to Yō and said…

            The 5th Annual Super Dash Newbie Light Novel Writer Award Winner, Asaura, brings you his newest work, an actioned packed high school comedy, Ben-To!

It is the Light Novel which no one picked it up for years even despite it’s anime having a good solid fanbase.

We have already updated Part-0 and Part-1 of the novel. Part-2 will be posted soon.
